This thriving stand alone practice is going from strength to strength and boasts a diverse and really interesting client base of high quality clients. Due to both succession planning and expansion, the very well regarded tax practice is looking for a director to step into an existing portfolio.

There is plenty of scope for someone looking to achieve partnership in the short term, with a business case already established.

The role is broad ranging and you will be responsible for some of the firm's largest clients. These include UK and international groups and successful single entities in a variety of sectors including property, FS, manufacturing, media and technology. The firm punches well above its weight. You will manage the compliance for the larger and most important clients, as well as getting involved in a whole range of advisory projects including mergers, acquisitions and reorganisations etc. If you can add more value by advising on supplementary areas like R&D for example, even better.  The firm is mindful of risk and doesn't advocate or get involved in schemes, but focuses on providing pragmatic and commercial solutions.

The partners and directors are friendly, approachable and well qualified; many have come from larger practices and were looking for a firm where they could add value, play a key part in the decision making, and work with friendly and supportive colleagues.

This role will be of particular interest to an experienced corporate tax specialist who is looking for more responsibility and realistic scope to move towards partnership in a short space of time. Direct entry partnership may be considered for candidates who can demonstrate that they are already operating at that level, so someone whose career ambitions are being delayed by the strictures of a larger firm may be interested to hear more.

In summary, this is a profitable and well run practice with interesting and high quality clients. The supportive and welcoming partners have already established a business case for a director to make partner in short order.
