Private Client Tax Associate Director - Guildford

Excellent opportunity for an experienced private client tax Associate Director or Senior Manager to join a prestigious team that has been experiencing continuous growth despite the pandemic. The team has accommodated a few changes in in working patterns over the last few months and as such now have a vacancy for a full time position.

The role is to work closely with the partners and manage a portfolio of complex private clients. It will require someone who is technically strong and able to engender trust in their clients, explaining tax issues and planning opportunities to them in an easy to understand manner. It will suit someone who likes to roll their sleeves up and get involved in every aspect of the team, from managing workloads, training and appraising staff, to actively working with partners to cross sell services within the business.

The client base is broad and includes HNWIs, landed estates, partnerships, trusts, non doms and those with residence issues, and entrepreneurial and family run businesses.

The right candidate will be CTA qualified and most likely come from a professional services background where they will have developed a commercial outlook and range of skills necessary to thrive in that environment. It is expected that you will have significant advisory experience, as well as having dealt with challengingly complex UK tax compliance.
