Expatriate Tax & Global Mobility Senior / Supervisor - London

£35,000 – £48,000 London Hybrid Working - Expatriate Tax
Ref: 148 Date Posted: Wednesday 01 Jun 2022

If you are looking for a broad spectrum of work within human capital tax, this multi-disciplinary boutique practice could be the place for your next career move. This role is not your average expatriate tax job. It is so much more;  if you want to broaden out your knowledge base and get exposure to other practice areas, this is fully available to you too. In addition, the practice is growing and there is plenty of scope for career progression.

You will work directly to the Partners which will give you learning and responsibility beyond your expectations. It is a mixed compliance and advisory role, with compliance dominating busy season and advisory the top dog for the rest of the year. As well as advising on expatriate tax, you will be involved in some of the HR aspects of global mobility too. If you are interested in understanding the infrastructural issues and corporate set up of moving people around the globe, this role will afford you that insight. In addition to expatriate tax, typical work will include working on global mobility policies, drafting assignment letters and liaising with service providers to ensure the assignees are fully supported with housing, shipping, schooling and the like. There will be a few payrolls to oversee each month. You can get involved in some pension auto enrolment, if you’d like to add that string to your bow. Perhaps look at the issues around the movement of data globally and advising clients thereon. Acting as an outsourced HR function for some of your clients with regards to their assignees. And that’s just a taste of the kind of work available to you.

The company is looking for someone with an expatriate tax background and 2-3 years’ relevant experience (ATT or equivalent). Full training will be given for areas that you are interested in but have not yet got experience of. Full study support will be given for relevant professional qualifications, if you would like to pursue them.

They offer hybrid working and are happy to consider all manner of flexible working options, including part time, if required. You will be working with a super team of well renowned professionals who genuinely care about each other and support your development and career aspirations. The sky really is the limit here.
