In-house Corporate International Tax Manager / Senior Manager - FS - London

Perhaps you are an experienced Manager or Senior Manager within a Big 4 or Top 10 Professional Services firm  looking for a move in house? A rare opportunity has come to market to join a high growth global investment manager that is already taking the FS industry by storm.

The need has arisen for someone in the London office to take responsibility for its tax operations in several global jurisdictions. The role is multi-faceted and covers a number of tax jurisdictions within Asia and Europe, as well as the UK.  It is a standalone position offering enormous autonomy, whilst at the same time giving support to the global Finance teams and tax team members in other offices. As a senior member of the global team, you will enjoy high visibility within the organisation and be in a position to influence strategic decisions for future growth and direction.

On a day to day basis you will deal with all aspects of global tax return compliance, tax provisions, planning, and automation.  The Tax team conduct tax research and planning projects and oversee tax compliance for a portfolio of funds, private equity and management companies, as well as HNWIs and tax-exempt organisations. The firm’s founders are passionate about emerging technology and invest heavily in tech to transform the FS sector. 

The role will require a UK tax background with ideally some knowledge of one or 2 of the other relevant tax jurisdictions as well. The rest can be picked up as you go along. The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• ACA or CTA (or equivalent) qualified
• Analytical problem solver with excellent attention to detail
• Ambitious self-starter
• High levels of credibility and gravitas
